Dompark API

Context
----------
The Dompark API is a REST API created to support the RETRO\ **fitter**.

How it works
--------------
The parameters selected by the player in the RETRO\ **fitter** are sent to the Dompark API via an HTTP request, which then computes retrofit results through CITY\ **hub**. These results include metrics such as CO₂ emissions and cooling/heating demands before/after the retrofit for comparison. The Dompark API sends these results in the request response, which is then visualized in charts rendered in RETRO\ **fitter**.

Current state of the project

The Dompark API is no longer in active development, due to the :doc:`RETROfitter <../retrofitter/index>` also being discontinued.
